Texas has sued four blue battleground states to overturn the Presidential Election. 17 other states have joined the lawsuit filed in the original jurisdiction of the US Supreme Court. Reply briefs have been ordered filed by Thursday evening.
I have called Governor or Texas and the Texas Travel Alliance to inform them that since their government believes it is their prerogative to disenfranchise blue states and force the rest of the country to accept Donald Trump as our President, that I will not be visiting Texas to spend any money whatsoever and will, to the extent possible, boycott businesses located there until Texas votes blue in a start wide Presidential of US Senatorial election. Please join us in contacting elements of the Texas tourism industry and spreading this online.
You should call the Governor of Texas. Be polite-

(for Austin, Texas and out-of-state callers)
Call 711 for Relay Texas - Citizen's Assistance Telecommunications Device, if you are using a telecommunication device for the deaf (TDD)
You can contact the Texas Travel Alliance (more details below)

There is an online message form on their website.
Update
I used their online form and received this reply. Unsurprisingly, they want us to go away. They claim they can't do anything but as we know in SC, the government will always toss important things under the bus for tourism, so we'll go forward and thanks for trying.
Response from the Texas Travel Alliance
“I received your note that you submitted on our website for the Texas Travel Alliance.
We are not a state tourism board. But a private association who works for the benefit of our members in the travel industry across the state.
You would be better served contacting the Governor's Office of Tourism.
Please do not share our contact information, as we have no influence over what the Texas A.G. decides to do.

My response to Shane- Your website claimed you are the leading tourism organization in the state. I hold you to your representation. I would suggest you call your Governor. I'm connected to a nationwide coalition of progressive activists and work on a national boycott has already begun,.
This is going to be your problem. We'll be calling tourism focused businesses in Texas today.
I'll be happy to call your Governor and AG.
I deeply resent the arrogance of deciding your state has the right to invalidate my vote for President.
I won't set foot in Texas or spend a penny on any business there until Texas votes blue in a Presidential or Senatorial election.
I invite you to track my record of activism. I do real damage. Admittedly Texas is a big target, but they're easy to hit.

We can be sure the Texas Travel Alliance spends lots of money trying to influence government in Texas. I won’t accept their plea they have no influence when selling that influence is how the earn their bread. I’ll be calling some major results on the Texas Coast today and they’re not the government either.
Your State my be thinking of joining the lawsuit- I’ve since learned that South Carolina, my home state, has joined this lawsuit and will now be squandering my tax money on it. That doesn’t excuse Texas, just because I live in a backward state of rednecks, doesn’t mean I have any desire to spend my Covid withered vacation money on time in larger and even more arrogant wasteland devoted to things like football, racial prejudice and NASCAR.
